What is WelcomeWare?
WelcomeWare is a virtual check-in platform that enables care coordinators to remotely greet and check-in patients via a kiosk at the clinic. This new system is active at all CMSO’s physical therapy locations and allows patients to check in with ease and speed.
“Our seven different therapy locations across the Chattanooga region have early and late hours – from 7 am to 6 pm on some days – designed to accommodate patients who need our services but who may be working during normal business hours. We needed a way to ensure coverage by one of our trained staff, regardless of the day or time,” says Brandy Parker, director of therapy. “Offering virtual check-in means that one of CSMO’s remote care coordinators are always available to check patients in, take payments and help with scheduling upcoming appointments. This means that our therapists, therapist assistants and therapy techs can focus on patient care rather than administrative tasks.”
WelcomeWare provides:
- Check-in with a remote care coordinator: Connect with a real person (and CSMO team member) who can assist you with your check-in process, answer questions, and guide you through the next steps—all virtually.
- Contactless Convenience: A streamlined check-in process minimizes wait times and maximizes safety and comfort. Remote care coordinators help patients complete forms, scan documents, schedule appointments, review copayments or patient responsibility balance.
- Efficiency for All Patients: Whether you’re tech-savvy or prefer personal assistance, WelcomeWare ensures everyone feels cared for. You’re talking with an experienced care coordinator who is ready to help, and the platform’s intuitive interface ensures a smooth experience.
“We recognize that patients may be hesitant about new technologies, and this system has proven to facilitate a consistent check-in for our patients.
