Sydney is a native of Johnson City, Tennessee. She relocated to Chattanooga in March of 2021 after completing physician assistant school in Roanoke, Virginia, where she was named a member of the Pi Alpha Honor Society and served in numerous student leadership roles. Sydney graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University and a Masters of Science in biochemistry from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to physician assistant school, Sydney was a Quality Control Chemist at a pharmaceutical manufacturer in Bristol, Tennessee. Her multifaceted education and experience have shaped her approach as she cares for her patients each day.
In her spare time, Sydney enjoys long walks, hikes, and traveling with her husband, daughter, and rescue dog.
