Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics Announces NEW Urgent+Ortho Walk-In Clinic Open on Saturdays at Gunbarrel Location
Chattanooga, TN, October 2024 — Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics (CSMO) is launching its Urgent+Ortho walk-in clinic on Saturdays beginning November 16th at its Gunbarrel office, located in The Atrium 2 building, 1949 Gunbarrel Road, Suite 150. Same-day, walk-in care will be available from 8 am to 12 Noon. This new location and extended hours will expand access to walk-in care and will be in addition to CSMO’s Chattanooga, Cleveland, and North Georgia orthopedic urgent care locations that will continue to operate on their normal Monday-Friday schedules.
CSMO’s Urgent+Ortho clinic is designed to provide fast, walk-in care for simple fractures, dislocations, sprains and strains, or slips, trips and falls. It also serves individuals who have a nagging orthopedic need – like sore joints, hand stiffness, or heel pain – that just won’t seem to go away.
“Our goal is to make high-quality orthopedic care more accessible in our community, whenever they need it most. By offering Saturday hours at our Urgent+Ortho walk-in clinic, we’re giving patients with urgent orthopedic needs the chance to receive expert care without waiting until Monday,” says Jason Robertson, MD, CSMO’s Urgent+Ortho Medical Director and Non-Operative Specialist. “This service is especially valuable for active individuals, athletes, and families who can’t always make it to us during regular weekday hours or don’t want to go to the ER. We’re here to help them get back on their feet, pain-free, as quickly as possible.”
Offering Saturday Urgent Care will increase access to non-emergency care for orthopedic concerns that require immediate, but not emergent attention. The Saturday clinic will be staffed by orthopedic experts and supported by advanced diagnostic capabilities including X-Ray and MRI technology. It continues the tradition of CSMO’s popular Saturday Sports Clinics that have been actively serving the Chattanooga and Cleveland communities since 1985.
