Dr. Jason Robertson is a fellowship-trained, board-certified physician specializing in sports medicine and non-operative orthopaedics. He provides comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, sports-related injuries, overuse injuries, and other conditions affecting the muscles, joints, and extremities.

A Chattanooga native and graduate of Boyd-Buchanan School, Dr. Robertson has been providing orthopaedic and sports medicine care in the Chattanooga area since joining Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics in 2007. He currently serves as a medical director for CSMO and as clinic director for the McCallie Urgent + Ortho Walk-In Clinic.

Dr. Robertson has extensive experience caring for athletes at the collegiate, professional, and community levels. During his Sports Medicine fellowship, he served as a team physician for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide, University of West Alabama, and Birmingham Barons. He has also provided medical coverage for the PGA Champions Tour, SEC athletic tournaments, professional baseball spring training, and numerous other sporting events.

He currently serves as team physician for the Chattanooga Lookouts, Chattanooga Red Wolves, and Boyd-Buchanan School. Dr. Robertson is the area’s only U.S. Soccer Federation Preferred Provider and holds a FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine. In 2026, he was awarded the Sports Medicine Person of the Year Award by the Tennessee Athletic Trainers Society. He has also been selected as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor – 2025-2026.
