Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics is excited to welcome Claire Parsons, PA-C, physician assistant, to our team! Claire joins us with a strong background in emergency and acute care, and training in exercise physiology and wellness supports her whole-person approach to helping patients recover and stay active.
Claire earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South College in Nashville, Tennessee, where she gained extensive experience across multiple clinical settings—including emergency medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, and surgery.
Before pursuing her graduate degree, she received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Health and Wellness from California State University, Chico, graduating with honors. She also completed an Emergency Medical Technician program at Butte College, which sparked her passion for hands-on, fast-paced patient care.
With a strong foundation in both emergency medicine and preventive health, Claire is dedicated to delivering compassionate, efficient, and evidence-based care to every patient she sees. She has also volunteered with organizations such as Project C.U.R.E., IVHQ Medical in Guatemala, and the American Red Cross, reflecting her commitment to service and global health.
Claire provides compassionate, expert care to every patient she serves and is proud to be part of the CSMO team’s mission to help individuals live and move without pain. She will be part of the weekend crew at our Urgent + Ortho – Gunbarrel office.
