With the recent news that CHI Memorial hospitals and physicians will no longer be included in Network S effective July 1, 2024, many patients have had questions about our in-network status.
While we greatly value our relationship with CHI Memorial, Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics and CSMO Surgery are not affiliated with the CHI Memorial Healthcare System. We have our own contract with BlueCross BlueShield and are independent from the CHI Memorial System.
As such, Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics remains in network with BlueCross Blue Shield of Tennessee Network S, Network P and Medicare Advantage. This means you can continue to receive our top-notch orthopaedic and sports medicine services or have surgery at our surgery center without disruption of your in-network benefits. If you have been told you need surgery in a hospital setting like CHI Memorial, we will work with you to determine the very best option available.
