Notice to Patients: CSMO Expanding Orthopaedic Care Options

At Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics (CSMO), our mission is simple: to deliver high-quality orthopaedic care and help our patients stay active, healthy, and moving. We’re writing to share an important update about how and where we will provide care that continues to fulfill our mission.

Beginning in August 2026, CSMO’s total joint, foot/ankle and sports medicine physicians will begin performing surgeries primarily at HCA/Parkridge Health System. We will also have a presence with Erlanger Health System. As we look to the future, we are making thoughtful changes designed to preserve access to high-quality orthopaedic care, support the long-term needs of our patients, and ensure we can continue delivering the exceptional care you expect from CSMO. And as part of this transition, our presence at CommonSpirit – Memorial Hospital will be significantly reduced.

While the locations where some procedures take place are changing, one thing remains the same –our commitment to providing exceptional orthopaedic care.

What this means for you:

  • You will continue to receive the same high-quality care from your CSMO physician, regardless of the hospital where your procedure is performed.
  • Expanded access to care: By practicing in additional hospital systems, we are making it easier for patients across the region to access CSMO physicians and services.
  • Hand and spine services will continue at Memorial, ensuring continuity for patients who rely on those specialties.

Need orthopaedic care quickly?

For urgent or lingering orthopaedic concerns, our CSMO Urgent + Ortho walk-in clinics offer convenient access to orthopaedic specialists without an appointment.

For many patients, Urgent + Ortho provides a faster, more convenient alternative to the ER—often helping patients receive specialized orthopaedic care while avoiding unnecessary emergency room visits and associated costs.

We understand that changes like this can raise questions. Please know that our focus remains on making this transition as seamless as possible while continuing to provide the care and service you have come to expect from CSMO.

Thank you for trusting us with your orthopaedic care. We are honored to be part of your healthcare journey and look forward to continuing to serve you for years to come.
