Dana Simpson Joins Dr. John Nash in Patient Care

CSMO is excited to announce that Dana Simpson will move from the hospital setting to offering direct care to patients in Dr. Nash’s clinic.

Dana Simpson MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in orthopaedic care and a passion for helping patients navigate every stage of their recovery. She has been a valued member of CSMO since 2020, where she has worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons in the hospital setting, managing patients undergoing total hip and total knee replacement.

Dana has developed extensive expertise in post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, anticoagulation, and early identification of potential complications. She is known for her collaborative approach—working alongside surgeons, therapy teams, and nursing staff to ensure each patient has a safe, smooth recovery and a clear path forward.

Dana is excited to work alongside Dr. John Nash to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care both before and after surgery. Her experience allows her to guide patients through the entire joint replacement journey—from initial evaluation and education to recovery and long-term outcomes.

In addition to her orthopaedic experience, Dana brings years of work in interventional pain management, where she has performed joint injections and developed individualized treatment plans focused on improving function and quality of life. Dana earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and holds a post-master’s certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified by the ANCC.

What I most love about working at CSMO is the incredible team. Every person plays an integral role, and together we provide exceptional orthopedic care. I am excited to transition into the clinic setting alongside Dr. Nash, where I can build stronger relationships with patients, support their recovery over time, and continue delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
